Nashville-based Cordovas—connoisseurs of country, rock and soul—made their national television debut on Saturday morning, performing two songs from their upcoming album Destiny Hotel, out Oct. 16 via ATO Records, on CBS This Morning. The band also performed a version of “This Town’s A Drag,” the opening track of their 2018 ATO Records debut That Santa Fe Channel, for the program. View videos of all three songs below.

Led by songwriter/bassist Joe Firstman and further comprised of Lucca Soria (guitar), Sevans Henderson (keyboards) and Graham Spillman (drums), the core of Cordovas were also joined by vocalists Kyshona Armstrong and Amber Woodhouse for the performance, adding a burst of soul to the band’s already thick and magnificent harmonies.

The band, all of which donned a face mask aside from Firstman, opened with the first single from the forthcoming Destiny Hotel, titled “High Feeling,” a blissful, shimmering track ripe for the summer season before following it up later in the program with “Rain On the Rail,” another track from the yet to be released album. The group also performed “This Town’s A Drag” but it didn’t make it onto the show’s live broadcast, instead appearing on CBS This Morning’s Youtube channel.
