LEXINGTON, Ky. — Prestonsburg-based wordsmith Nicholas Jamerson joined me this week for episode 90 of Wick’s Picks on RadioLex.

However, prior to Jamerson joining the program I took a look at the Central Kentucky live music menu for Jan. 21-27 with music from Johnny Conqueroo, Bek and The Starlight Revue, Jon Stickley Trio, Kevin Dalton & The Tuesday Blooms and Rachel Crowe, among others.

Following the live music menu, Jamerson hopped into the studio with me to discuss his plans for 2020 including the release of his fourth solo album The Wild Frontier due out in April. We took a deep dive into discussing the newly revealed project in addition to hearing Jamerson perform “Ride” and “Feather Bed” from the album live in studio along with a recording of “Clear Picture” straight from the upcoming project.

Wick’s Picks will return to the air live from 5-7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 28 with special guests Jessica Crockett and Sarah Cahill of the Master Musicians Festival. During the show we’ll discuss everything to do with this year’s 27th annual gathering in Somerset including the musical lineup, to be revealed this Friday, Jan. 24, during a party at Jarfly Brewing. Listen at WLXU 93.9 LPFM and RadioLex.us.
