OWENSBORO, Ky. — ROMP has unveiled the final round of artists for it’s 16th annual gathering, to be held from June 26-29, 2019, on the rolling hills of Yellow Creek Park on the outskirts of Owensboro. Joining the lineup are Kentucky native and ROMP veteran Sam Bush, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Dustbowl Revival, among others.

Rounding out the lineup additions are Della Mae, Wood & Wire, Chatham County Line, Jacob Jolliff Band, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Songs From The Road Band, JigJam, The Family Sowell, The Trailblazers, Relic, and The Glade City Rounders.

They join previously announced artists Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder with special guest Patty Loveless, Del McCoury Band, Trampled by Turtles, Steve Earle & The Dukes, The Wood Brothers, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Billy Strings, Jeff Austin Band and The Travelin’ McCourys performing The Grateful Ball, and Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers.

ROMP set attendance records in 2018, when 30,000 people converged on Owensboro to see Allison Krauss, Sam Bush, Rhiannon Giddens and others. The festival looks to build on that momentum in 2019 as it’s non-profit producer, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum, recently re-opened along Owensboro’s downtown riverfront, offering expanded exhibits, attractions and event space for music lovers in the region.
