JD Crowe and a bevy of familiar faces on the menu for Festival of the Bluegrass

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Bluegrass music legend and Lexington native JD Crowe is coming out of retirement to perform with iconic band The New South at the 46th annual Festival of the Bluegrass to be held from June 6-9, 2019, at the Kentucky Horse Park. Joining Crowe for the family-run festival’s 46th annual gathering will be festival regulars Town Mountain, Seldom Scene, Russell Moore & Iiird Tyme Out and NewTown, among others.

The festival made the roster and daily lineup announcement in a post to their Facebook page, which you can see below.

Rounding out the lineup are Lonesome River Band, Dale Ann Bradley, Hog Slop String Band, Dave Adkins, Turning Ground, Wildfire, Irene Kelley, Moron Brothers, Dry Branch Fire Squad, True Life Travelers, the EKU Bluegrass Ensemble and the Kentucky Bluegrass Music Camp.
