Master Musicians Festival finalizes daily schedules for 25th gathering

SOMERSET, Ky. (March 16, 2018) – Today the Master Musicians Festival revealed the daily schedules for it’s 25th annual celebration, to be held on the campus of Somerset Community College on July 13 and 14.

The festival expands to two stages in 2018, with music kicking off Friday of the festival with hometown heroes LaMay and Reese and Lexingtonian Eric Bolander before winding down in the evening with The Dead south and JD McPherson.

Saturday features a mid-day Kentucky women songwriter’s showcase before transitioning to early afternoon performances from Grayson Jenkins, Dawg Yawp and others prior to legendary songwriter John Prine and Lexington blues rock upstarts Magnolia Boulevard helping to close down the night.
